About Rui Fish


Rui or Rohu Carp is one of the most known fish of india and Bangladesh. Its scientific name is Labeo Rohita. The of fish is like a mango. Head and tail are slim. Height greater than the width. This type of form is called streamlined because the motion of the water. is not interrupted during walking. The body's sides are flat and the whole body is covered with silver fiber. The fivers are arranged in a smooth and alignment. The fissure surface of the fennel of the fennel is faded and black. This salmon in the center of the fiber is more intense and bright in the breeding season. In addition to growing aquatic vegetation, the surface of the growing fish may be greenish. The back of this fish is brown and stomach is white in color. The goes downwards and the thick lips are folded inwards. There is a pair of shoulders on the lips on the face.
Rui fish can be up to 200 Centimeters long. They can live up to a maximum of 10 years and can be up to 45 KG. Internationally, the name of Rui fishes is called Rohu. The local name is Rui, Rohita, Rou, Nala, Gorma, Nauci etc.
  
Availability ::
Rui fisheries are found sweet ponds, lakes, rivers and estuaries of India Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Flowing through various large rivers in Bangladesh, the floods enter the land while leaving the eggs. Rui fishes are cultivated in Syria, China, Russian Federation, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia and African shortage of nutrients due to taste, easy farming and economic importance. The ruiyas have been successful in the river of Mithapani, Indian Andaman Islands.

Eating Hbits :: 
Rui fish is shankashi. They usually move in the middle of the water. Due to their low mouth and thick lips, aquatic plants weeds and occasionally contain organic matter from the bottom of the water. Fishcamels, cauliflower, poultry etc. are also used as supplementary feeding during the pond. How ever, their main diet is small animals, plumage or plankton.

Nutritional Value ::
Every 100 grams of Rui are 16.4 grams of meat, 1.4 grams of fat, 680 miligrams of calcium, 223 mg Phosphorus.
External Structure ::
Head :
Head from the front of the cornar to the back of the Canco and it is 4-5 inches long. The upper part of the body is convex, but the upper surface of the head is more convex from the belly.

 Face::
The lips are blunt, low and rarely swollen. The face is bent towards the back two edges, the face is crescendo. There are like lips on the face and below. There is a pair of nostril on the front of the eyelid on the surface of the abdomen.

Eyes::
There are two large eyes on each side of the head. There is no leaf in sight, cornea is covered by transparent skin.

Reproduction::
Rui fish is mature in two or three years. In the river flooded in the monsoon (especially in aquatic vegetation) male and female Rui take part in reproduction. In a breeding season, a mother of fish gives about two or three million eggs, which is the age of fish, length and weight, and immortal depending on the length and weight, it may be more.

Fish eggs
In the lower depths of the deep water and in the stream of rivers, the wife rui fish leave the eggs. If there is a stream made in the dam or pond, then the rui fish can leave the egg without any difficulty. There is a ray of 4.5 kg weighing 6.5 million to 35 lakh eggs. However, on an average, every adult fish has about 1 lakh lakh eggs. The fish that we cultivate like rye, katla, mrigel and calbos, they lay eggs in the river during rainy season. On the other hand some of the special embankments in Bankura, Midnapur area also lay eggs. It is the fish of the fishes caught from the river. Fish from river in Lagola, Dhulian region and Malda Manikkak region of Murshidabad district of West Bengal Is widely fry the eggs.


Because the Rui fish is attractive to the taste, the demand of the market is very wide. Therefore, this fish is very important in the cultivated fish.
